An arrest was made in a case where a suspect entered a gas station with his face covered and committed an armed robbery with firearm and fled the scene. Patrol and investigators were able to identify and apprehend the offender within days of the incident.

Sgt. Cantees observed a 77 year old unresponsive male behind the wheel of his vehicle drifting into the intersection of Hollywood Blvd and Henry Av. Sgt. Cantees was able to quickly assess the situation and position his vehicle to stop the vehicle. His quick thinking prevented this minor incident from becoming a bigger one.

Officers responded to a local entertainment restaurant where a child was left behind at the location for over 4 hours by their guardian. The guardian was eventually identified, located, and arrested for child neglect.

A vehicle drove through the front door of a local fireworks store, causing an immediate fire and explosion of all of the fireworks located in the store. Officers evacuated nearby residents, protected motorists from entering the area, and assisted with management of the incident.
